Division of Ambulatory Pediatrics
Care for the next generation of Mississippians depends on today’s education and research in the field of pediatrics. Meeting the health care needs of ill or injured children throughout Mississippi now and in the future, the Division of Ambulatory Pediatrics trains the next generation of general pediatricians through practice as well as in the classroom.
Professors in this division of UMMC’s Department of Pediatrics share experiences covering multiple disciplines with medical students, residents and fellows and participate in research aimed at advancing pediatric care in the state.
